If you deleted your Instagram account, the Threads profile tied to it is deleted too. Meta says deleted profiles cannot be restored once deletion is complete. If you are still inside the 30-day window after requesting deletion, log back in to Instagram to cancel it. After that, you can only start a new Threads profile.

#Why did Threads disappear?

A Threads profile made with an Instagram account is linked to it. Meta's help pages say that deleting the Instagram account also deletes the Threads profile.

#Can I still cancel the deletion?

Instagram keeps a deletion request pending for 30 days. During that period, logging back in to Instagram cancels it, and Threads should return with it.

#What if deletion is complete?
