## Short answer

Losing shoppable videos, LIVE selling or Product Showcase usually means your Creator Health Rating hit a milestone. Check the rating and the violation behind it in TikTok Shop for Creators, and screenshot the details. You cannot appeal the milestone, but you can appeal each violation once, through its violation ticket, within 30 days. TikTok Shop makes the final decision.

## Summary

- Losing shoppable videos, LIVE selling or Product Showcase usually means your Creator Health Rating hit a milestone, and zero points removes e-commerce permissions for good.
- Open TikTok Shop for Creators, check your Creator Health Rating and the violation behind it, and screenshot the reason, the date and the points deducted.
- Milestone enforcements cannot be appealed, but each violation can be appealed once, through its violation ticket, within 30 days of the enforcement date.
- Commissions linked to a violation can be frozen during review and may be deducted for good if you do not appeal in time or the appeal fails.
- Do not buy a ready-made affiliate account, open a second account or trust anyone claiming to be TikTok Shop staff who asks for your login or a fee.
- TikTok Shop makes the final decision on every appeal, and some creators do not get their permissions back.

You open TikTok to post today's product video and the yellow basket is gone. Product Showcase will not load, your LIVE has no shopping bag, and a message in your inbox mentions your Creator Health Rating.

In most cases this is a TikTok Shop enforcement on your creator account, not a ban on your TikTok profile. Temporary losses last 3, 7 or 14 days. Permanent removal happens at zero points. The route back is to check which violation caused it and appeal that violation, once, within 30 days.

This guide explains how the Creator Health Rating works for Malaysian affiliates, which notices can be appealed and which cannot, what happens to frozen commissions, and the evidence TikTok Shop asks for.

## Why Were My TikTok Shop E-commerce Permissions Removed?

TikTok Shop removes e-commerce features when your Creator Health Rating (CHR) falls to a milestone, or when it takes separate action for a serious breach. TikTok Shop's [Creator Health Rating page](https://seller-ph.tiktok.com/university/essay?knowledge_id=5320538579584769&lang=en) lists Malaysia among the markets it applies to. It says a score that drops to 150, 100 or 50 points cuts access to shoppable videos, LIVE and Product Showcase for 3, 7 or 14 days, and that reaching 0 means "permanent removal of all e-commerce creator permissions". You cannot appeal the milestone itself, but you can appeal each violation that cost you points, through its violation ticket, within 30 days. Nobody outside TikTok Shop, including AwareXone, can restore these permissions.

## What Is the Creator Health Rating?

The CHR is a private score from 0 to 1,000 that reflects how well your shoppable content follows TikTok Shop's rules. Every new TikTok Shop creator starts on 200 points, and only you can see the score. The CHR page groups it into four bands:

- 200 to 1,000 points: "Your account is healthy."
- 151 to 199 points: your account "needs improvement".
- 1 to 150 points: your account "is at risk of deactivation".
- 0 points: "Your TikTok Shop e-commerce access will be permanently removed."

To find it, the CHR page says to open Creator Center, then TikTok Shop for Creator, and scroll to the bottom. Notices arrive in your TikTok inbox under System notifications, then Monetization. The exact labels can differ between app versions, and the Malaysian app may show them in Bahasa Melayu.

One detail matters for your next step. The CHR counts only TikTok Shop violations. Community Guidelines violations sit under a separate "General Violations" tab and do not change the score, although they can still remove videos or put warnings on your account.

## Which Notice Are You Looking At?

Match what you see to a row below first. The most common mistake is appealing the wrong thing.

*TikTok Shop creator notices and the first step for each, based on TikTok Shop's published policies at the time of writing.*

| What you see | What it means | What to do now |
| --- | --- | --- |
| A warning that you are close to a milestone | TikTok Shop sends this when you are 25 points away from 150, 100, 50 or 0 | Check each recent violation ticket and appeal any that are wrong before the next deduction |
| Shoppable videos, LIVE and Product Showcase unavailable for 3, 7 or 14 days, and no campaigns | A milestone enforcement at 150, 100 or 50 points | The milestone cannot be appealed. Appeal the individual violations behind it within 30 days |
| "Permanent removal of all e-commerce creator permissions" | Your CHR has reached 0 points | Appeal any violation ticket still inside its 30-day window; there is no appeal against the milestone |
| Commissions shown as frozen or deducted | Earnings tied to a specific violation are on hold while TikTok Shop reviews it | Appeal that violation within 30 days, or the frozen amount may be deducted for good |
| You cannot promote a particular product | Some products require a minimum CHR or Promotion Performance Score | Raise your score over time; this is an eligibility rule, not a violation |
| A "General Violations" entry or a warning on your whole TikTok account | A Community Guidelines issue, outside the CHR | Use the in-app appeal for that video or account, not the TikTok Shop ticket |

If the problem is a ban on the TikTok account itself, our guide to [TikTok bans and appeals in Malaysia](https://www.awarexone.com/research/tiktok-account-banned-malaysia) covers that route. If you also run a shop and Seller Center shows a deactivation, the seller side works differently; see [what to do when a TikTok Shop is deactivated](https://www.awarexone.com/research/tiktok-shop-account-deactivated-malaysia).

## What Happens at 150, 100, 50 and 0 Points?

TikTok Shop calls these milestone enforcements. The CHR page says they apply automatically when your score drops to each level.

*Creator Health Rating milestone enforcements as published by TikTok Shop at the time of writing.*

| Score falls to | What you lose | For how long |
| --- | --- | --- |
| 150 points or below | Shoppable videos, LIVE selling and Product Showcase, plus campaign eligibility | 3 days |
| 100 points or below | The same features, plus campaign eligibility | 7 days |
| 50 points or below | The same features, plus campaign eligibility | 14 days |
| 0 points | All e-commerce creator permissions | Permanent |

The [Creator Enforcement Policy](https://seller-ph.tiktok.com/university/essay?knowledge_id=7654205934356226&lang=en) adds that TikTok Shop can act outside the CHR for serious or high-risk behaviour, such as fake engagement, misleading or unsafe content, or using several accounts to avoid enforcement. Those actions can include suspension, commission deduction or permanent removal from TikTok Shop, whatever your score. The policy page did not show a list of markets when we read it, but the Malaysia-listed CHR page links to it for enforcement and appeals.

## What Costs Creators the Most Points?

The CHR page says deductions depend on how serious and how frequent a violation is, and that every deduction resets automatically after 90 days. The Creator Enforcement Policy says first-time warnings do not affect the score. A few examples from the published list:

- Up to 40 points per piece of content: promoting prohibited, unsupported or counterfeit products, brand circumvention, unoriginal content, AI-generated impersonation, and a brand in your video that does not match the listing.
- Up to 20 points: redirecting traffic away from TikTok Shop, gambling content, misleading prices, undisclosed AI-generated content, weight management claims, pre-recorded content presented as LIVE, and misleading claims about what a product does.
- Up to 10 points: exaggerated claims, irrelevant promotional content and low-quality, non-interactive content.

Two of these catch many Malaysian affiliates. Telling LIVE viewers to message you to order outside the app can count as redirecting traffic. Re-posting a brand's supplied clip without permission can count as unoriginal content; our guide to [unoriginal content restrictions on TikTok LIVE](https://www.awarexone.com/research/tiktok-live-restricted-unoriginal-content) explains how that flag works.

## Can You Appeal a Removed TikTok Shop Permission?

You can appeal the violation, not the milestone. The Creator Enforcement Policy says "appeals are not accepted for milestone enforcement actions", and that you may submit one appeal per violation within 30 days of the enforcement date. Appeals after 30 days are not reviewed. If an appeal is approved, the enforcement for that violation is removed, and the CHR page says the deducted points are restored. TikTok Shop's pages do not say whether restoring points ends a milestone period early, so plan as if it will run its course.

TikTok Shop's [Creator Appeal Guidelines](https://seller-ph.tiktok.com/university/essay?knowledge_id=5870231491151617&lang=en) describe the steps in the app. At the time of writing they read like this, though menu names vary between versions:

1. Open your CHR or account standing page and go to your violation records.
2. Tap the violation you want to appeal and read the whole ticket: the reason, the content snapshot and the timestamp.
3. Screenshot the ticket before you change anything.
4. Near the bottom of the violation details, tap "Appeal".
5. Write a short, factual reason why the decision is wrong, attach documents that answer that exact reason, then tap "Submit".

On a computer, the same guidelines say to find the violation and click "View Appeal" in the Actions column. TikTok Shop says it aims to reply within 7 working days. Once it has reviewed the case, the Creator Enforcement Policy says its decision is final.

> Note: **You get one attempt per violation.** Creators have a single appeal for each violation, so make the first one complete. The appeal guidelines say TikTok Shop decides in its sole discretion, and the enforcement policy says an appeal does not guarantee a reversal. Some creators do not get their permissions back.

If you think the score itself is wrong rather than a single ticket, the CHR page says to go to Settings, then Help Center, submit a support ticket, and choose Creator Development as the topic.

## What Happens to Frozen Affiliate Commissions?

The Creator Enforcement Policy says TikTok Shop may freeze commissions for up to 90 days while it reviews a violation. The freeze covers only commissions linked to that violation. If an agency or MCN manages you, its share of that revenue is frozen too.

If you do not appeal within 30 calendar days, or the appeal is denied, the frozen commissions may be deducted permanently. The policy says you can see deductions in TikTok Studio, under Tools, then Monetization, then Balance, then Earning History, listed under violations. In more severe or repeated cases, TikTok Shop may deduct commissions directly.

## Appeal Evidence Checklist

The appeal guidelines list documents by violation type. Send what answers your ticket.

- For every appeal: screenshots of the violation ticket and your CHR page with dates visible, and a two to four sentence explanation.
- Unoriginal content, proof you made it: a photo of yourself in the filming setting, a photo of the set or background, at least one physical product shown in the video, and the filming equipment. Editing software does not count as equipment.
- Unoriginal content, proof of permission: an authorisation letter from the original creator with both handles, the video IDs covered and their signature or company stamp.
- Counterfeit product promotion: a trademark registration certificate, a letter or power of attorney from the brand owner, or a purchase invoice matching the goods.
- Minor safety flags: a copy of your MyKad, passport or driving licence showing you are an adult.
- A note of what you sent and when, because you will not get a second attempt on that ticket.

Never edit or borrow a document to make an appeal work. A fake authorisation letter turns a fixable ticket into a much bigger problem.

## Mistakes That Cost Creators Their Appeal

- Appealing the milestone notice instead of the individual violations behind it.
- Waiting for the restriction to lift and letting the 30-day window close, which can also make frozen commissions permanent.
- Deleting the flagged video before you screenshot the ticket and prepare evidence.
- Opening a second creator account to keep selling. The Creator Enforcement Policy says TikTok Shop may act against all accounts it believes are operated by the same person or group, including linked seller accounts.
- Arguing about fairness instead of answering the reason in the ticket.
- Paying an agent who says they can "unlock" affiliate access through a contact at TikTok.

## What If Someone Else Posted the Violating Content?

Sometimes a helper, an agency or an attacker made the video. Secure the account before you appeal, so nothing new lands on your score.

1. Change your TikTok password and the password of the email linked to it, then sign out devices you do not recognise.
2. Turn on 2-step verification. TikTok's [privacy and security guide](https://www.tiktok.com/safety/en/privacy-and-security-on-tiktok) says it protects your account from unrecognised devices if your password is compromised.
3. If you are locked out entirely, follow our steps for [recovering a TikTok account in Malaysia](https://www.awarexone.com/research/tiktok-account-recovery-malaysia) first.
4. In the appeal, state plainly that the account was used without your permission, roughly when, and which content was not yours.
5. If money was lost, call the National Scam Response Centre on 997. The government's [NSRC 997 page](https://www.malaysia.gov.my/en/categories/safety-and-community/cybersecurity/nsrc-997-hotline) says to call within 24 hours of discovering the scam, contact your bank and make a police report at the nearest station.
6. You can report a phishing link or takeover to CyberSecurity Malaysia's [Cyber999 service](https://www.cybersecurity.my/portal-main/services/cyber999-overview), the national point of contact for computer security incidents, by online form, email, phone or its app.

> Warning: **Fake TikTok Shop staff and ready-made affiliate accounts.** Restricted creators get messages in English, Bahasa Melayu and Chinese, such as "kebenaran e-dagang anda boleh dipulihkan hari ini" (your e-commerce permission can be restored today) or offers of an "akaun affiliate siap" (a ready-made affiliate account). Real appeals happen only inside the TikTok app. TikTok says a legitimate email from its teams would never ask for your password. Never share a password, login code or backup code with anyone, and do not buy an account: using another account to avoid enforcement is exactly what the Creator Enforcement Policy targets.

## When a Case Review Makes Sense

Most creators can handle a single wrong ticket with the steps above. A second opinion helps when you are at or near zero points, when a takeover and TikTok Shop violations are tangled together, or when affiliate income supports your household. SocialSafe by AwareXone, our recovery service, reviews the tickets and what you have already tried, then tells you honestly whether an appeal window is still open. Our [business and creator recovery service](https://www.awarexone.com/services/business-creator-recovery) explains how that works, and our [Trust Center](https://www.awarexone.com/trust) sets out what we will never ask you for.

## Frequently Asked Questions

### How long does a TikTok Shop showcase restriction last?

At 150, 100 and 50 points the loss of shoppable videos, LIVE and Product Showcase lasts 3, 7 and 14 days. At 0 points the removal is permanent.

### How do I get my Creator Health Rating back up?

Deductions reset after 90 days. The CHR page says compliant videos and LIVEs that lead to completed orders earn points weekly, and a perfect score on the policy quiz linked to a violation earns points too.

### Do Community Guidelines strikes lower my Creator Health Rating?

No. TikTok Shop says the CHR counts only TikTok Shop violations. Community Guidelines issues appear under General Violations for reference but can still lead to video removal or account warnings.

### Can I create a new TikTok account to keep doing affiliate sales?

It is likely to make things worse. The Creator Enforcement Policy lists using multiple accounts to avoid enforcement as high-risk behaviour and lets TikTok Shop apply enforcement to all associated accounts.

### Can AwareXone restore my TikTok Shop affiliate permissions?

No. Only TikTok Shop can restore creator permissions. SocialSafe by AwareXone can review your case and help you prepare an accurate appeal, and we never ask for your password or login codes.
