## Short answer

Stay on Meta's official appeal or review path from the disable notice, finish any identity check carefully, and protect Pages or Business Portfolios through other admins. There is no public phone line that reinstates disabled accounts. The Oversight Board needs an active account you can log into, so it is not a route for a disabled profile.

## Summary

- Read and save the exact on-screen notice before you retry anything.
- Use the official appeal link in the notice; follow any deadline shown there.
- Meta Verified support only works from a verified account you can still access.
- New accounts created to dodge a disable can themselves be disabled.
- AwareXone never asks for passwords or login codes and never promises reinstatement.

Stay on Meta's official appeal or review path from the disable notice, finish any identity check carefully, and protect Pages or Business Portfolios through other admins. There is no public phone line that reinstates disabled accounts. The Oversight Board needs an **active** account you can log into, so it is not a route for a disabled profile. Ignore Telegram "Meta agents". Malaysia help is quoted in MYR after review; elsewhere in USD after review.

## I appealed my disabled Facebook account and heard nothing. What now?

Confirm whether the notice still offers a review, whether Meta asked for ID or a video selfie, and whether email or the Support Inbox has any reply you missed. Re-enter only through the **official** notice or facebook.com while logged into that account. Do not start parallel appeals with mismatched documents. If the account was hacked first, also use [facebook.com/hacked](https://www.facebook.com/hacked). ## First, confirm what happened

**Disabled / suspended (enforcement)** is not the same as **hacked then locked**. Read the exact wording, screenshot it, and note any reason or policy link. Meta's Transparency Center explains that accounts can be disabled for severe violations, for strike build-ups, for accounts created to get around restrictions, and in other listed cases ([Disabling accounts](https://transparency.meta.com/enforcement/taking-action/disabling-accounts/)). Your own notice controls the next button you should press.

## How long should I wait, and is there a deadline to appeal?

Meta's help materials for suspended or disabled personal profiles describe a **limited time to request a review**, and they note that the period **can vary by region**. We could not independently re-read the live wording of every Meta help mirror at publish time because those pages often block automated access, so treat the **deadline printed on your notice** as authoritative. Appeal early rather than waiting for forum rumours about a fixed global number of days. In our experience, a review can sometimes take around 30 days. That is typical, not promised: some reviews finish sooner, some take longer, and Meta does not commit to a timeline.

## Can I appeal again, or send more ID?

If the notice still allows a review or an identity step, complete it once with clear documents that match the profile name. See [identity confirmation ID rejected](https://www.awarexone.com/research/facebook-identity-confirmation-id-rejected) and [video selfie verification](https://www.awarexone.com/research/facebook-video-selfie-verification-not-working). Spamming duplicate appeals or uploading someone else's ID makes things worse. If Meta already gave a final refusal and the notice offers no further review, another DIY form usually will not appear.

## Is there a phone number, email or live chat for disabled accounts?

Meta does not publish a general public customer-service number that reinstates disabled accounts. Numbers in search ads, WhatsApp blasts or Instagram DMs are a common scam pattern. For what "real human" channels actually exist, see [how to contact Meta support](https://www.awarexone.com/research/how-to-contact-meta-support-real-human) and [fake Meta support scams](https://www.awarexone.com/research/fake-meta-support-scam-malaysia).

## Can Meta Verified support help if my account is disabled?

Meta Verified support is built for subscribers who can still open chat or email **from a verified account they can log into**. It is not a promised review lane for a profile you cannot access, and it does not override enforcement decisions. Details: [Meta Verified support for hacked accounts](https://www.awarexone.com/research/meta-verified-support-hacked-account). If you still have Verified on another linked profile you can access, you can ask what that channel can see; expect honest limits.

## Can the Oversight Board help?

Usually **no** for a disabled login. The Oversight Board FAQ states that people who appeal must have an **active account** on the service where the content was posted: the account cannot be disabled, and the person must be able to log in. Board appeals also require Meta's content-decision process and a reference ID when eligible ([Oversight Board FAQ](https://www.oversightboard.com/faq/); [appealing to the Oversight Board](https://transparency.meta.com/oversight/appealing-to-oversight-board)). A fully disabled profile without login is the wrong tool for this board.

## Should I create a new account?

Meta's disabling-accounts material calls out accounts **created to get around restrictions** as a reason for disabling. Creating a replacement profile, buying an "aged" account, or cloning your Page on a new login often deepens the problem. Focus on the official review path and on business assets that other admins still control.

## Someone on Telegram says they are a Meta agent. Is it real?

Treat unsolicited "unban", "insider" or "recovery hacker" offers as scams, especially if they want crypto, gift cards, remote access or your password. FTC guidance on refund-and-recovery scams applies in spirit to unexpected paid unlock offers. See [fake hackers offering account recovery](https://www.awarexone.com/research/fake-hackers-offering-account-recovery-scam).

## My Pages and ad accounts were on this profile. How do I protect them?

If other people still have admin roles, ask them to review Page roles, Business Portfolio admins, payment methods and linked Instagram accounts immediately. Use [business manager recovery](https://www.awarexone.com/business-manager-recovery) when the portfolio side is the emergency. Ownership proof habits in [prove account ownership](https://www.awarexone.com/research/prove-social-media-account-ownership) help later reviews. If Instagram caused a Facebook suspension, read [suspended because of Instagram](https://www.awarexone.com/research/facebook-suspended-because-of-instagram).

## What still works

- The **official appeal or review** control on the notice, used once with accurate information
- **Identity confirmation** that matches the profile ([ID](https://www.awarexone.com/research/facebook-identity-confirmation-id-rejected) / [video selfie](https://www.awarexone.com/research/facebook-video-selfie-verification-not-working))
- **Meta Verified** only from an account you can still use
- **Other admins** securing Pages and Business Portfolios
- **facebook.com/hacked** when compromise is part of the story

## What does not work, or makes it worse

- Duplicate appeals and mismatched IDs
- New accounts to bypass the disable
- Oversight Board filings without an active login
- Paying strangers for "same-day unban"
- Forum scripts that promise a hidden email address

## If the appeal is rejected or the window closes

Meta may permanently disable an account after a failed or missed review path. At that point, beware of anyone selling a second chance. Document what you still control (email, ads billing, other admins), warn customers on another channel, and consider whether a different official product channel still accepts evidence. Nobody outside Meta can force a reinstatement.

> "Silence after an appeal is painful, but the dangerous part is the inbox full of fake agents. Stay inside Meta's notice, protect the business seats you still have, and only share IDs through Meta's own upload screens." - Md Shariar Shanaz Shuvon, Founder, AwareXone

### Why was my appeal ignored?

Meta does not publish a personalised SLA for every disable. Check spam folders and the in-product inbox, then confirm the notice still shows a pending review.

### Can I email an executive to skip the queue?

Public executive emails are not a reliable reinstatement channel and are widely scraped by scam templates.

### Does downloading my information help?

If the notice still offers a download, take it for your records. It does not by itself reverse a disable.

### What if I lost money to a fake recovery broker?

Contact your bank, and in Malaysia consider NSRC 997 for scam payments. Keep paying the broker will not unlock Facebook.

### Will creating a Business Manager fix a disabled personal profile?

No. Secure portfolios that other admins still reach; do not treat BM as a back door into a disabled personal login.

### Do you promise reinstatement?

No. Any service that does is a red flag. --- Sources: - Meta Transparency Center, disabling accounts - https://transparency.meta.com/enforcement/taking-action/disabling-accounts/ - Oversight Board FAQ - https://www.oversightboard.com/faq/ - Meta: appealing to the Oversight Board - https://transparency.meta.com/oversight/appealing-to-oversight-board - Facebook hacked flow - https://www.facebook.com/hacked - Facebook Help (suspended/disabled profiles; confirm on your notice) - https://www.facebook.com/help/103873106370583
