# Agentic Bug Hunter

Agentic Bug Hunter is an AI-assisted bug bounty toolkit that drives recon, hunt, validate and report workflows for programmes you are authorised to test. It ships as a standalone CLI, Claude Code plugin and MCP server.

**Authorised use only.** Use only against programmes and assets you are contracted or expressly permitted to test. Unauthorised scanning is illegal and outside the project's purpose.

## Who it is for

Bug bounty hunters and security researchers running authorised programmes; teams evaluating agentic security tooling; educators teaching modern recon workflows.

## Problems it addresses

- Recon, hunting, validation and report writing still consume most of a hunter's week
- Teams need tooling they can inspect, fork and run against scoped targets only
- Agent workflows need a clear authorised-use boundary, not indiscriminate scanning

## How it helps

- Standalone CLI bughunter for the recon → hunt → validate → report loop
- Claude Code plugin and MCP server for agent-assisted workflows
- Multi-provider LLM and multi-tool pipeline described in the project README
- Designed for authorised bug bounty and research scopes, not open-internet abuse

## Limitations

- It does not grant permission to test anything. Authorisation is always your responsibility
- It is not a push-button zero-day machine; findings still need validation
- Feature claims should be read from the live repository README, not marketing copy alone
